RK Auto Body has been a dream and a vision for our owner, Randy, since a very young age.
At 12-years-old, Randy was first introduced to the auto body industry when he started wet sanding at a local body shop. His experience and expertise continued to develop when he began repairing vehicles out of a two-car garage at the age of 14. Two years later, he was purchasing, fixing, and selling rebuilders.
Randy became a co-owner of a used car dealership that he helped to build on the outskirts of Centerville, Iowa. Several years later, he purchased the dealership as the sole owner and changed the name to RK Auto Body. During RK Auto Body’s first years, Randy began offering collision and glass repairs along with repairs and sales of salvage vehicles. A year after establishing his auto body shop, he married his wife, Karla, who he views as the other working half of RK Auto Body.
Today, RK Auto Body has an additional 5,000 square feet which allows us to offer a larger waiting area for our customers, added storage area for parts, and six extra working stalls for our auto body technicians.
